It Seems to me that Hollywood hates Sarah Michelle Gellar. Why fix something
that doesn't need fixing? First, 'Scooby Doo' had live action remakes come out after the legendary 2002 and 2004 movies, 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer' is allegedly getting a complete (Completely unnecessary) reboot and 'The Grudge' had a remake that came out last year. I saw the new 'The Grudge' in the cinema when it came out and whilst I'm glad it wasn't as awful as the 'Child's Play' reboot, I don't think the world needed it. Sarah Michelle Gellar's legacy defiantly didn't need it.

The 1990 'It' and the 2017 'It' are both amazing. I definitely think that the original
'IT' traumatised me to some degree after I watched it as a child. Growing up, I always found myself daydreaming at the most random times and envisioning Pennywise appearing out of nowhere to come and basically kill me (For lack of a better explanation). Was that normal? Should I speak to a therapist about that?

One word for the remake = DESPICABLE. Thank God Tiffany Valentine was not
involved in that mess. The iconic 'Child's Play' franchise did not need a reboot at all, Jennifer Tilly who plays Tiffany has even expressed negative thoughts about it. The doll they used for it is horrifyingly ugly.

With an all star cast starring Paris Hilton (The ultimate it girl), Elisha Cuthbert, Chad Michael Murray, Jared Padelecki and more familiar faces, the 2005 'House Of Wax' was bound to do well. 2005's 'House Of Wax' is a remake to some extent of the 1953 movie, also called 'House Of Wax'. One thing that I especially loved about this movie was the 'See Paris Die!' marketing strategy that they used to promote the movie.
